The Sindh Integrated Health and Population Program (SIHPP) organized a landmark event to empower 7,000 women in first phase across targeted districts by providing interest-free loans for business startup and skill development initiatives. Each selected woman received PKR 200,000 to help establish or expand small businesses, strengthen vocational skills, and improve household income.

The honorable Minister of Health, Secretary Health, and Program Director – 1000 Days Programme attended the event and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to women empowerment, financial inclusion, and sustainable socioeconomic development. The initiative reflects a strong commitment to poverty alleviation, self-reliance, and strengthening families through economic independence of women across Sindh.
