The Project Management Unit (PMU) – Sindh Integrated Health and Women Economic Empowerment Program (SIHWEP) signed a Service Agreement on 24 December 2025 with Akhuwat Islamic Microfinance to launch an Interest-Free Loan (Qard-e-Hasna) initiative for women across Sindh.

The initiative aims to support 6,400 women entrepreneurs with interest-free financing up to PKR 200,000 to expand businesses and promote sustainable livelihoods.
