Going beyond healthcare, it seeks to empower women through entrepreneurial skills training and access to small business loans, promoting both physical and economic well-being.

Making Primary Health Care Facilities 24/7
The program is dedicated to ensuring that primary
healthcare facilities are available and accessible to the community 24/7.
Strengthening Patient Referral System
The program places a strong emphasis on
strengthening the patient referral system by adding a fleet of more than 150
ambulances to the existing ambulatory system of the Health Department.
Enhancing Connectivity Between Health Care Provider & The Public
The program has planned to enhance connectivity
between healthcare providers and the public through the implementation of
telehealth solutions
Using Microfinancing to Improve Nutritional Status of Women
Through microfinancing, the program will provide
women with the capital needed to start income-generating activities. This
includes small-scale agriculture, livestock rearing, or home-based businesses.

Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Reviews SIHPP Performance
The Honorable Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, chaired a critical meeting at the Sindh Integrated Health and Population Program (SIHPP) office to review its performance. Joined by the Program Director, Dr. Zeeshan Noor Shaikh, and the PMU team, the discussion focused on RMNCAH, nutrition, and family planning services. Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho emphasized overcoming challenges, enhancing efficiency, and fostering collaboration to achieve impactful health outcomes across Sindh.

Field Visit for Health Facility in Sindh (September 2024)
The PMU Monitoring team conducted Health Facility Assessments in five districts of Sindh between September 17 and 27, 2024, focusing on service delivery, environmental aspects, and data validation, while engaging District Authorities to enhance program impact.
